Customer Care Advocate Job Description

Key Result Areas

  • Provide great customer service by phone
  • Payment processing, order adjustments and light sales (potential to earn incentive pay)
  • Enter orders in a timely manner, received by phone, fax, mail or internet
  • Exhibit a professional manner and treat customers with respect

Key Competencies

  • Friendly
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Team player – Balances team and individual responsibilities
  • Flexibility in scheduling hours, must be available a minimum of 15 hrs/week and 2 late shifts a week
  • Ability to multitask

Qualifications

  • ​​High School diploma or GED and at least three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Keyboarding experience by touch (minimum of 25 wpm) and experience with Word/Excel/Outlook
  • Customer service experience required; call center experience preferred

About King + Cross Companies

King + Cross Companies is 100% employee owned and supports customers of three national brands: CTA - Christ to All, God’s Word in Time, and King + Cross Distributors. We offer an exceptional family environment working with some fantastic people. Our sales peak seasonally, so part-time staff members are scheduled weekly as needed. We are located at 1653 Larkin Williams Road, Suite 202, Fenton, MO 63026.

Our regular hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, and we can be flexible with partial shifts. During our busy season (April through the first week of May), you may be required to work some evenings to 6:00 pm. Some overtime hours may be required. We have seasonal employment opportunities throughout the year and are flexible with scheduling.

This is a great opportunity for those who would like to be off weekends and some during the summer and mid-winter months.
