Fulfillment Associate

Purpose:

We are seeking a seasonal Fulfillment Associate who will perform order fulfillment from the printing of picking tickets to shipping the orders with the designated carrier and service provider while supporting order fulfillment with supplies, equipment, inventory, and training.

Key Results Areas:

  • Accurately pick, pack, and scan orders
  • Make and stacks boxes to support order-fulfillment needs
  • Complete void fill: seal and stack cartons on trucks or pallets as directed
  • Assemble custom school planners according to customer requests and timing
  • Complete in-house assembly projects as needed and directed
  • Maintain integrity of inventory
  • Perform product quality checks as needed and directed
  • Assist with tracking returned orders and logging defective products
  • Work quickly and efficiently for optimum productivity
  • Exhibit professional manners; treat customers and staff with respect
  • Participate in extended hours and Saturdays during peak seasons
  • Operate hand truck and pallet jack as necessary
  • Protect products, equipment, and property
  • Participate in annual and semi-annual physical inventory and cycle counts as directed
  • Provide backup for other warehouse staff as required and directed
  • Perform additional duties as required and directed

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Three to six months related experience and/or training preferred but not required
  • Committed to supporting the King + Cross brands, visions, and missions
  • Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds

Details:

Seasonal employment is based upon hours available and not limited to only a specific season. Though part-time or full-time hours might be achieved at times throughout the year, the employee’s status remains seasonal.

  • Hours: Flexibility is available, up to 40 hours/week during peak seasons. The warehouse is open between 7 a.m.–4 p.m. CT on Monday–Thursday and between 7 a.m.–3 p.m. CT on Fridays, occasional Saturdays as needed.
  • Pay: Hourly $15.00
  • Benefits: Possibility of accruing PTO
